So, two of my best friends Benj & Justin wrote this little show called EDGES, not sure if you've heard of it? But with the 19301841235 productions of it being mounted at colleges, you might be living under a rock if you haven't. But anyway, they got their first major production of it that recently closed at the Capitol Rep in Albany with a fierce cast & creative team. Anyway, they basically re-wrote the majority of the show with only a few of the original songs surviving.
This is one of the new songs from the show, and I've got to say, it's been haunting me since I first heard it. I literally listened to it 16 times the first night Jake sent me the audio bootleg. So how lucky was I when I signed onto the UrInTown account this morning and saw that someone (still not sure which of my friends) posted a video of it. I was totally blown away by Whitney Bashor's performance and have been singing the song in my head even during the show tonight.

I go to Syracuse for Musical Theatre, and a bunch of my friends went to Albany for the weekend to see it. There response, in the words of Betty Buckley (soooo much cooler than Tyra), was... FIERCE!
Can I just say AMAZING!!! I guess I was living under a rock because I've never heard of the show but now I REALLY wanna see it. I also YouTubed "Coasting" and love that one too. Whitney's voice is haunting I love it.
