Maybe Hilarious

So this past week one of Dana's friends, Tim Drucker, came and visited us in DC. He's kind of the deal and totally cracked me up. He is part of a sketch comedy group called The Other Baldwins which aside from performing, also make some pretty hilarious youtube videos. Here's one that I particularly loved. These girls were students in a workshop where their sketch group worked with them on improv and comedy. Turns out, they're prets hilars. I think you'll totes understand why.

BIG DAY/Daily Updates

So today was certainly monumental. First off, poor Dana is sick as a dog and had to call in for the show today, so Robin (who is the cute redhead in the Goodbye Sally video) made her debut today as Logainne on tour. She had been on as Olive a number of times while Vanessa was shooting her TV Show (it's true. she's a huge star), but it was her first time ever takin on the chick with the lisp and red hot pants. She was Great! And it also marked the first performance ever of another one of our swings--Julius. It seems our little Justin Keyes caught the SPELLING BEE plague as well and had to call in, so both shows today consisted of two first timers. It was a really fun experience, and they both did wonderful jobs.

Okay, random rant.
I decided that I need to start updating the blog on a more regular basis. I've been pretty good at posting weekly Video Blogs, but when I vainly and borededly check my ratings, they seem to have gone down significantly this month. Do you guys not find my silly blogs funny any more? Is it the red hair? Hmmmm...'Cause I always assumed that everyone just read to see the videos and didn't really care about the written details, but it seems like maybe people stopped reading because the blogs aren't updated all that much. Soooo, I am gonna take a vow to try and update almost everyday, even if it's nothing else than to share the new greatest youtube that I've discovered.
end of rant.

So, I'm gonna do just that; post the newest discovery I've made. This discovery comes from the most unlikely of places--my own backyard!!! It's true, tonight while Vanessa and I were just randomly browsing youtube, we came across a real gem broadcast by none other than our tour's own Julius Thomas III, the same Julius who had his debut tonight. And I didn't even know about it?!

Lemme break it down for you. Julius is on the vocals and Karen (our red hot keyboardist/sometimes conductor babe) is on the ivories. This is just them messin around in one of our practice rooms on their dinner break, but dayuhm they sound freakin great. Earlier today, I heard Julius sing for the first time ever, and later that night, I heard him riff it up for Jesus. Get it 'chyall!!!

take a listen,

FUH FUH FUH FIERRRRRRCEE

This is the absolutely most amazing video for three reasons.

#1 Contrary to popular opinion, there IS a North Korean Star Search

#2 This is the campiest thing I've ever seen.

#3 I have never in my life seen a 14-year-old more capable of ridiculous Chelsea Krombach-esque options.

Is there an age requirement for Elphaba? Because this girl MAY just jump ahead of my dream casting of Alanis and Regina Spektor as everyone's green nodulischious gal.

you can send an email to

ANNOUNCEMENT: Horror Short film to Debut Tomorrow Night

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

So I am very proud to announce that tomorrow will be the debut of my very first short film. I kinda started fooling around with random, non sequitur, fun movie-like snipets in the past few blogs and I figured it was high time to do a full-length one.

Soooo In celebration of Halloween, MKC and I fooled around with the video camera and made our very own slasher horror film, and don't worry folks, it's real campy.

Sooooooo check back here tomorrow night (10.18.07 @ 11PM) for the debut of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DUMMY (c) An Andrew's Blog Production

And uhm, and yes I DO know that there happens to be a "Goosebumps" book and episode of the same name, but COME ON, what else do you name a movie about a dummy that comes to life?!

I've included a few teaser screen shots from the film; they appear below.

Funniest effing video.

HAHAHA, This video totally made my day. I have no idea if anyone will actually think this is funny outside of the MT program, but it totally made me crack up. David Andrew Morton and Ian Mazurek (sp?!) who are sophomore's in the proram, are throwing a Umich MT Party for their birthdays. "Happy BDAY!" aaaaand they made this youtube video to announce it. Well, I'm SO in town right now for SPELLING BEE and after watching it I'm definitely going! AHHH, I love college!
