It's interesting to see just how pervasive digital memory has become in our everyday lives. It seems like everytime I turn my head, I see something with a card slot or USB jack, lol. I guess it makes sense though, considering how much cheaper memory has become lately...
Ahhh... I shouldn't be moaning and groaning. I can't make it through a single day without using my R4 / R4i!
I'm in a love-hate relationship with virtual memory because of how prices are always, and I mean always falling. I hate buying SDs for my R4 / R4i at (seemingly) a bargain price only to see it become a whole lot cheaper a couple of weeks later.

I share a love/hate relationship with virtual memory because of how prices are always dropping. I absolutely hate buying Micro SD Cards for my R4 / R4i at (seemingly) a bargain price only to see it become a whole lot cheaper a couple of weeks later.
Technology really has become completely integrated to our existence, and I can say with 99% certainty that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as memory gets less expensive, the possibility of uploading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.
