What a find! At 18 years old, Kayleigh Erickson is an amazing new youtube discovery. A gorgeous tone matched with one of the most flexible, clean voices I've heard in a long time, she will no doubt develop the cult like following she deserves. I found it utterly charming that she also thanks Natalie Weiss as an influence. Kayleigh's sweet, honest face paired with her crazy Shoshana/Lauryn Hill style riffs make her one of my new favorites. No doubt her vocal gymnastics are enough to draw you in, but if you doubt her ability to pull off just singing the line of a song, listen to her simple and effortless "I'm Not Afraid of Anything." Especially as an emerging youtube artist, you should totally check out her youtube page and subscribe to her videos. Thanks Jake for the tip!
