I randomly happened upon this blog...I think I had a creative writing class with you in college. Anyway, it was so completely random that I recognized you that I had to say hello. You prob don't remember me. It was in 2006 my senior year. You and Helene (I think that was her name) were in it and I remember it clearly bc it was my senior year and also because the class was filled with a lot of strange people.
Anyway, glad to see you are putting your musical theater education to use.
Currently "Robertson Ay" in the Broadway company of MARY POPPINS. Most recently, created the roles of "Crutchie" in the world premiere of Disney's NEWSIES (Papermill Playhouse) and "Omar" in the world premiere of Disney's ALADDIN (5th Avenue). Other Broadway: SEUSSICAL, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, A CHRISTMAS CAROL. 1st Nat'l Tours: "Leaf Coneybear" in SPELLING BEE, "Max" in THE GRINCH, MARY POPPINS, RAGTIME. TV/Film: recurring character, "Christophe," on THE NAKED BROTHERS BAND (Nickelodeon), Paramount Picture's MARCI X, ONE LIFE TO LIVE, a weekly commentator on FNMTV on MTV. Readings/Workshops: "David" in TORCH SONG TRILOGY opposite T.R. Knight (Manhattan Theatre Club), "Mike TeaVee" in CHARLIE & THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY (Marc Shaiman/Scott Whittman, dir. Sam Mendes), "Jesse" in TUCK EVERLASTING (dir. Casey Nicholaw), "Hal" in ROCKET SCIENCE (Playwright's Horizons, dir. Kathleen Marshall). B.F.A from the University of Michigan.
