Hey Andrew, my name is Margo and I'm 13 years old. I completely agree, that acceptance speech really spoke to me on so many levels and gave me a lot of hope and encouragement to pursue my career and dreams. Also I literally laughed out loud at the Bernadette BP comment ;) And for the "Yous Guys" question, I would make a video response but I'm super sick right now, total mess :( So here's my answer: (although it may seem lame) I would love to play either Flounder in The Little Mermaid (due to such a fierce dominance as a male kid among many older female voices singing, it's such a great contrast and I love the song She's in Love) or young Simba or young Tarzan (you can see I'm guilty of being a Disney broadway fan). I just love the childish freedom and animal-like primitive feel to such innocent and fierce child parts.
Actor, director, author and filmmaker. Andrew is currently playing the role of "Crutchie" in NEWSIES on Broadway (Outer Critics Circle nominee, Best Supporting Actor). Other Broadway/National Tour credits include MARY POPPINS, SPELLING BEE, SEUSSICAL, THE GRINCH, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, A CHRISTMAS CAROL and RAGTIME. As a filmmaker, Andrew is the creator, director, producer and editor of the webseries, SUBMISSIONS ONLY (www.submissionsonly.com) alongside his collaborator, Kate Wetherhead. His videos have been profiled in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Entertainment Weekly, New York Magazine, Newsday, Huffington Post, NY1 and PerezHilton.com.
